>>2477957>>2477957>After a certain altitude you're full on alpine climbing and if you're not skilled at that it's a big problem.Alpine climbing is not the problem they will just turn around if its too much of a scramble. But when its wet or raining there are two things:
1. Steep trail and it starts to rain or snow, and they are wearing American trailrunners or Goyslippers Quest 4D they will slip on the way down and tumble to their deaths if the section is exposed. The meadows are natural golf lawns and slippery when wet, sometimes almost vertical or they just disappear into an abyss. People slip on wet gras and disappear, not even an ice axe could save you.
2. There are snowfields on the trail in May/June and then you can't see trailmarkers. Tourists go up to 2500m following the footsteps of some other hikers that came before. It starts to snow again and the footsteps are gone. They can't find the way again and freeze to death. It happens almost every year.
There are no warnings or signs, or trail closures like in the US. Everything is always open, and the path always looks civilized and well-traveled, and there is nice weather in the valley.
The normal mountain hiking trails are very exposed and sometimes have almost vertical scrambles over bare rock.
European Alps mountain conditions are just something you are expected to know when you come here as a tourist and local people don't talk about because its normal.
That's why people who recommend goyslippers in general for mountainhiking are faggots.
>>2477967>aaaah, we need more government because people are dying, aaaah. permits, close the trail, make them take a covid test. aaaahThat's how the human soul goes to die and why chuds seethe depressed in their basement instead of dying on an adventure.
