If I can't shoot or fish anything, I usually don't go /out/. If I can shoot or fish something, I will happily spend days navigating through trackless wilderness. I will go /out/ "just" to camp or hike, typically with friends/family, but at the very least, a compact fishing rod will come along "just in case," and maybe a crossbow.
This means that, in the winter (when normies definitely don't go /out/), after the close of hunting seasons that interest me, I only go /out/ to fly fish.
I see absolutely zero reason whatsoever to spend days in a tent for no real purpose other than solitude. Nigga, I can have solitude in my garage.
