>>2482299>>2482301Put in water if there's any tissue to re-hydrate it. Wear gloves and pull off the tissue if possible. Put Dawn in the water; IIRC that helps not only degrease the skull but helps soften and break down the tissue, though if there's a lot, say covered, just throw it in normal water and let that shit stink to high heaven until clean. Cover with something heavy to prevent animals getting into it. Or bury it, but you need easily a foot of dirt above the dead animal (not a foot deep total - a foot of dirt ABOVE the animal or more) and possibly a heavy object like a sheet of metal, a wood sheet, or some scrap metal an animal can't simply deal with or knock out of the way. Then let it sit for 3/4 of a year before digging it up. I highly recommend a tarp or plastic sheet under the animal, though, as it's easy to lose teeth and small bits when digging it back up. Something over the animal is also a help, too, as it's often hard to figure out exactly how deep you dug. But dirt stains bones and it's often still pretty gross looking when you dig it up.
