>>2479596where do you live bro? if you're american and want to get into mountaineering i think the best introduction possible would be to save up for 1-2 vacations to colorado and try to bang out as many non technical 14ers as you can.
unless you live around a mountain range, then even better, get out and do all the non technical summits in your state. great starting point.
