And they tore down the Byberry Mental hospital before I knew how much of a chance that would be. From what I know it was fucking terrifying though, my dad and his friends used to make newspaper torches and explore the tunnels.

I'd have to say Zion canyon at sundown. Only if you're off the trail and on a ridge or a elevated position though. I camped there a couple years back, and I'll never forget the amazing lightshow as the sandstone reflected the sun in a million different shades of red, yellow and orange. I did chew some datura root that morning, so I might be biased.

I've only really driven through the UP, camped for a night and bathed in some river. I'm from Ontario, and so am used to the Great Lakes landscape. I was amazed how different that south shore of Lake Superior is to the North Shore. The north shore is hugely rugged, massive cliffs, rocks, Canadian shield.
