Already got a new tent, but it would be nice to have more spare ones if needed. There aren't any holes, so I'm guessing it's just the waterproofing coating.

I hang mine up and coat the inside and outside with a fabric waterproofer. I was thinking about experimenting with clear coat or neverwet to see if they would be a cheaper/better alternative to the standard waterproofing aerosol that you buy at the store. But I don't expect you to experiment for me. Try waterproofing the seams with something like this (http://www.walmart.com/ip/COLEMAN-SEAM-SEALER/13848651) then spray with the standard aerosol.
