How many of you guys (and gals) are into snowshoeing? What type of snowshoe do you use? What type of terrain do you go out in?
I have been show shoeing since I was a teenager. I use a Tubbs wooden framed eastern bear paw type snowshoe. I love the binding on the Tubbs. Best binding in the business if you ask me. I live in Upstate NY and all my snow shoeing is in the woods and fields of the Catskills and Adirondack Mountains and surrounding areas. Soon I want to try out a winter camping snow shoe outing using a Pulk, which for me will be either a plastic sled with lashings or a old wooden toboggan that I have. Let me know what you're into.
