>>2484775In the US you can absolutely leave your state or country with a BK. You might be thinking of a child custody case where you need the other parent's permission to travel with the kid or move out of state. But even then you're allowed to leave, it's just a bit more legal work.
if you make enough money you can get a home loan in about 3 years, but it's difficult. You need to make lots of money to do it. That shit stays on your credit for about 11 years, so you pretty much need to be a millionaire to buy a house with a BK on your record. I have 2 BK's, I have gotten 5 refi's done since my last one. I am also a millionaire so that helps.
Selling retail goods to the public is the absolute worst business idea out there. High competition, low margins, poor customers, and likely to get sued or scammed. Selling services to businesses or government is a much better idea.
