>>2483854Specifically NOT /out/ but there's an abandoned house directly across from mine, when I was a kid it was the paint shop, but his wife died and it all sort of fell apart for him, the house is a complete ruin at this point, it has literally trees growing out of it. And there is a bench right beside it.
Backstory over
>be me, me>Locksmith, waiting for my workmate to pick me up in the morning (he had the work car)>"just pick me up by the bench at the abandoned house Chief"But every morning I stop by the bakery, pretty much across the street, "4 croissants please"
>head to the bench >start to nibble on a croissant >look up treeNotice two crows watching, throw a bit
Throw a bit more
Whoops now I don't have any croissants
>Workmate pulls up the truck>they fly away>throw him his 2 croissants Those two crows are a bonded pair, in the tree growing in an abandoned house. And the recognize our work truck, and they know which house is mine.
It's subtle with corvids, but just knowing we have gone beyond like, just food dependency, like with pigeons, because they just hang around me sometimes and they call when they see the truck, even though the truck to them only means I'm leaving
So that's how I became "morning crow guy"
