I figure it some kind of a vein issue, and i’m wondering if anyone else has it and if they’ve found a way to deal with it?

i was looking into compression stockings and got a pair today, it helped reduce the pain but somehow made the vein more apparent? wtf is going on

That being said, those are probably varicose veins. Lots of people who have jobs that require hours of standing or walking get them. They’re not really medically significant if they don’t hurt or abscess. I got them 10 years ago doing a survey job. They’ve never hurt and have hardly worsened. I enjoy telling people irl that it’s a parasite, and that doctors said it’s give me a lethal aneurism if they tried to remove it. If you’re not into that, congrats, your new socks are one of the only non-surgical measures. Go outside.

It's probably just a varicose vein. Pretty benign in most people with lots of risk factors that you can look up and read all about. See a doctor if you're worried about it.

A varicosity isn't usually serious if it's in a superficial vein, like yours. Deep vein thrombosis is a thing though, and is something your doctor will be able to talk to you more about.
