look at this bow. It's a browning compound bow, isn't it? I don't know much about it. I bought it at a pawn shop. I don't know if they put these out in series or what so I can't tell you the specs on it. I wish I had the draw weight. I figure that's not even a matter of the series but rather whatever a bow has been doing for the last 20 years.
It's hunting season already. lost my job last week. I have a new one lined up. I'm not so foolhardy to think that, "hey, with this bow I can run and get a new hunting license for $60 and have something to eat for the next two weeks" but nonetheless, I've always wanted to eat my game. I tried hunting with a gun at the preserves but they usually cater more to bowhunters than gun-shooters. some of them will let you hunt every day between now and february with a bow but only offer to weekends to guns.
I really know nothing about bows nor hunting. I read a guide on archery off the internet and although it was lengthy, offering advice like, "place your feet like so" and "draw to the same position on your face each time" there was nothing in there that constituted and actual formula for placing an arrow into a target. it was a lot more like, "uh, feel where you need it to go" and doing that I bought three arrows and so far I've been able to hit the target once at 60 paces before losing all my arrows. I bought some new arrows. I intend to just like devote all my free time to getting this thing down before buying a hunting license and hoping to fill up the freezer before february. it all seems like a very possible time-date to make good on my investments if I could sso much as take a single deer. it would probably pay for the bow and the hunting license and the time.
anyways I think I'm just looking for a good youtube series on archery. also, bowhunting tips are welcome.
