Now for the main topic. What is your philosophy for going onto private property? Do you ask permission from the landowner? Do you sneak onto the property hoping you don't get caught? Or do you stick to public areas for your adventures?

Also have you ever gotten caught on someone else's land? For those that did, did you get yelled at or shot at? Did they alert the authorities or sick their dogs on you? Greentext stories are welcome.
