While I have lived in CO and loved it, I've been AZ for the last 19yrs and can't love it more! A little lite on the lakes and rivers when compared, but we just love ours more for it.
I can drive from 68*F @ 1100' to 29*F @ 6900' and 8" snow in 2.5 hrs.
With a min elevation of 80' at Yuma and a max elevation of 12,637' @ Mt Humphreys.
Gun laws are great and the hunting and fishing are too.
One of the 7 Great Natural Wonders of the World, the Grand Canyon offers literally 1000's of miles of trails. I've been hiking it for decades and haven't even come close to getting good coverage.
And yet, I still would like a summer home in Montana! Best of both worlds.
