Actually, torn frenulums are fairly unique to human beings. You see, we have gigantic craniums, but we also are bipeds. Women's birth canals must suffer as a result.
It doesn't matter, really, because people who refuse to reproduce will perforce remove themselves from the gene pool, for obvious reasons. Surrogacy isn't really an option here, because women too focused on having fun to give birth almost certainly don't want to put in the time and energy raise a child from a surrogate, either.
It's easy to pretend you'll never be old and alone when you're young. A generation of women (X, older Millennials) are starting to find this out en masse.
