>>2494519Hiked it in 2020 with a backpack, quite a pleasant hike. Went up later afternoon and camped at Tuckerman ravine then summited and descended the following day. It was during the labor day weekend in September and was really nice, no cloud cover, a bit windy but temperature decent during the day.
Hiked it again a year later for Columbus Day in October but cloud cover sucked. Anyways the trip was better as the colors were better in October, highly recommend visiting New England then.
