Happy Saturday! Is it mostly shitposters right now - those of us who aren't /out/ at the moment?

I have an excuse - leaving on a trip tomorrow, so I'll shitpost all I like today (by the way, not poster above). Though, I sort of agree with his sentiments.

I've been to some good hot springs in northern B.C.

Has anyone here seen Old Joy? It's a very /out/ related movie. One of my favorites.

I posted that movie because it revolves around a trip to a hot spring. when they finally get there the place is total bliss, and nothing like what this guy is describing >>249594

Made this summer a hike trough the highlands of Iceland, I followed the Laugevegur from the south and came trough Landmannalauger which is a huge hot spring.
My final goal was Laugafell in the inner desert called Sprengisandur, a natural hot spring with a natural pool itself. Almost started crying when I finally made it to that pool and saw green plants again,

Also, 5°C, strong wind all week, only gray rubble and the occasional oasis/spring.

Hot springs are enjoyable. Out near Mammoth during a snowstorm. Getting out is awful, but otherwise it's nice.

ive been to the hot springs in Remington and mammoth, both have gross ass old hippies who should be shot but the ones up in mammoth (I think it was???) you can actually swim around in. it was cool when I was a kid but mehhh as an adult

The hippies in Remington are the ones who built, maintain and clean (on a nearly daily basis) the hotsprings. They're old, sure, but they're good folks. Notice how Remington is all built up, and the water is always clear? They're why. I'm so sorry that you're offended by the fact that people get old.

You can swim in the largest Remington pool, and there are plenty of others near it. The ones up in Mammoth, too.
