If you want something that is proven to last for years of continuous use, for serious backcountry use. Ask any Alaskan hunting guide or Scandi gamekeeper. They will all recommend Hilleberg or old North Face Mountaineering tents.
You can go home with your American REI UL shit. Seriously, you will. For short trips and weekenders there's nothing wrong with cheap chinese trekking pole tents but otherwise I wouldn't cheap out.
