I need to get away for a few days. What's the best town or village for walking?
It needs to be reachable by train as I don't drive and have at least one good pub so I can get pissed and try to shag a barmaid.

My preference is for walking up big hills, but I'm open to coastal routes or whatever. Just spent a few nights in Buxton and Castleton which was great.
