4X4 is what ruined the outdoors. Not GPS, not blogs, but giving suburban morons with too much money the ability to drive their lifted trucks full of garbage the final stretch.
If they could only drive as far as the forest service roads, there would be almost no chance of them even going there, let alone getting off their lazy asses and actually walking the "extra" few hours to a trailhead.
Take away their precious wheels and ability to bring a week's worth of beer and watch how quickly the crowds (and their potholes) evaporate.
