Where in the contingent US can I camp for a prolonged period of time without being molested by smoky the bear or seeing a single other camper/hiker. I'm talking more than a month. This country seems like an open air prison, everything is owned and fed land is almost always restricts the camping I want to do. It seems that dispersed camping locations make you move every few days.

Im not doing this for fun, I just want peace. I want to go away and be in seclusion without being bothered.

The only caveat is where ever I go has to be vehicle accessible so I can carry the supplies I need. I have the money for some off-road tires, the only question now is where to go.

I just want peace.
