Fuck Luxe. Their website says an item is in stock, but it's not. They WILL take your money and never ship you anything. I love their tent and stove, but avoid them at all costs.

But enough complaining. Brought out the stove for a 34F night. I just want it to snow.

Fabbed up a wood stove put of an old propane tank. Made a vent for the stovepipe out of some welders blanket. Whole setup cost me 50 bucks (with the clearance $30 walmart tipi tent) and a couple hours for a cozy winter camping setup.

the larp tent held up surprisingly well. Didn't get around to waterproofing the seams yet so I was expecting the worst but it handled light rain and heavy wind gusts perfectly well which was a nice surprise.

From early October, it's too cold now to camp in the mountains. Even then it got down to -7°C (20°F) in the first night and my sleeping bag has a temperature limit of 0°C (32°F) so it was kinda could.

too cold for you. You should aim to extend your comfort range to -18C , 0F. That's pretty normal for hunting season, and still autumn conditions, not winter.
My sleeping bag is -5C, and I just use a light wool blanket and extra wool clothes to get to -18C.

just grabbed some of these net baits on alibaba, they were really cheap and look fun as fuck to mess around with - especially since almost all of my local waters are <2m in depth, very shallow
