Well, I'm on 4chan so I don't expect much.

And yes, this is /out/ related.. I WANT TO GET OUT OF THIS PLACE and stop accessing any other type of junk websites before it is too late.

I've tried giving many chances to 4chan before, but right now I don't even know what the hell I'm still doing here. It feels like some kind of crippling old addiction ... and I'm turning old already.

I've tried to get out of all the media through drugs and basically archiving stuff offline for personal use. I'm talking seriously -- no masturbation (through the computer); no media (unless personal necessary stuff); no political websites (ok maybe just 1 daily journal); NOTHING.

A very clean digital hygiene.

Recently, I got hooked into hard drugs and antibiotics and it's been like hell to get out. I read some brain damage experiences in places like Erowid and bluelight...

I just want out. A complete change of lifestyle / country.

Anyone here who can at least relate to my situation or passed through this?

While your at it, take initiative and go do something instead of asking for the right answer. If you don't know what you'll enjoy outdoors, there are rentals for kayaking or canoes, fishing is a low barrier of entry, hiking you just walk in the fucking woods.

It's not hard to go out, pack a backpack with water, some snacks and a book and go out. Don't spend a week researching and then buy gear to go do it and never actually do it like every other post like this.

It's time to take responsability that's now or never. I live inside a country that I fucking hate and this doesn't allow me to go outside much... but I do have a slim chance of getting my md and tried to get the fuck out..
It is always some kind of vain repetition. I've visited other shitholes and pirated stuff, but I figure this place is part of the problem and I need to make some kind of last post inside here.

I think you should make small changes in your life, rather than one enormous change.
It sounds like you have a great handle on what you're doing wrong, but you need to focus on what you're doing right. human beings are made to be constantly working towards their improvement. So, make strides towards your own goals. Get into /out/ and fitness gradually and find what you like. Do the same with other hobbies. You need specific goals/aspirations with these things, but also must understand that the process is just as important as the achievement.
In short, always be working towards a new level, a new height. More than just NOT sinning, you must actually be good.

As long as you have a job and see some sun, fuck it, play video games, browse 4chan, research philosophers, learn about politics that will change your country for the better. The outdoors makes you feel good but there's no place that offers you entertainment or knowledge like the intent

Hooked on antibiotics? What the fuck?
Cultivate some hobbies, reach out to old friends and family. Addiction is usually more about the subject's environment than the subject. (see: cocaine addiction in captive rats).
As far as addiction goes, the internet isn't even that bad unless you're tied to your computer for most of your waking hours.

yeah, addicted to codeine for a couple of years. prescribed for wisdom teeth, became physically dependent, and at the time you could still buy it over the counter which sustained my habit. the withdrawal was a motherfucker, but you can do it too.

still overcoming computer addiction, but I run every morning, and hike at least once a week which is a start. leaving this board and 4chan for months at a time helps a lot, too.

I'm 29 and have been basically addicted to Runescape, booze, prescription drugs, kratom and porn for 10 years. It's on and off. I make some great strides and stay away from it for a while and then I succumb to some minor but constant pain and go right back into it all.

I'm currently at the "end of a cycle" of muscle relaxants, kratom and Runescape. I'm about to run out of my prescription meds and don't plan on renewing them. I also just weened off kratom. It's really hard honestly, and sometimes I have moments of panic and wonder if my entire life will just be a series of addictions, weakness and ruin. I have also had issues with gambling all my money. One time my mom lent me her credit card to pay for something and I had gotten blackout drunk, gambled my entire checkings account and then maxed out her credit card. She got stuck at an airport because her card got declined.

I paid her back in full about a month later and apologized profusely. I admit all of this stuff with great regret and it makes me feel pathetic to relive it just by telling you all. My mind has formed some defence mechanism type of shit to make me think I'm currently telling you the story of someone I know, but no, it's me that did all of this.

As I approach my 30s I am committed to never falling down so low again. It's really, really pathetic and I feel a sinking feeling in my soul just talking about it. That's not who I am though, just who I was. I'm a good person in the end and I will get retribution no matter what.

I've quit 4chan for 2 years. Completely. I came back because of the plague and I want to leave again but the real world has become somehow, SOMEHOW even shittier and more unbearable than it was before. I want to move somewhere else where nature is more accessible so I can go innawoods more often. It's all I have left.

If you have any problems with current day society and what it means to exist to serve it then I think you'll hate everything you do, because there's almost nothing left to do that isn't in subservience to the system. It's such a fucking problem. This site used to be such a good place to get disentangled and just shoot the shit with other people out of boundaries, but it's just like reddit or twitter now and the mods seem to hate it and want it destroyed even more than the invaders.

I don't even smoke cigarettes anymore and I did for decades. That was the toughest one to quit but I tell you what, I don't regret a moment, a single moment I spent whacked off my brain on drugs. I have regrets all right but not doing drugs. They tell you when to quit OP. You just have to listen.

but how? are you a hypochondriac and feel like every smol coof is the end unless you pop some antibiotics? for starters replace them with healthy antibacterial alternatives like 3 cloves of garlic each dinner, an apple a day and maybe some vitamin c and d to tell yourself nothing too bad can get to you if you keep at it and shift the addiction from the antibiotics

anyhow your gut is probably very messed up by now which can cause a whole heap of serious problems in the long run, psychiatric included, since most of your immune system is in your gut so you need to repopulate the good bacteria living there which the antibiotics wreaked havoc on with probiotics and prebiotics found in fermented foods like sour pickles and yoghurt which i actually have some pretty good & straightforward recipes for and work really well now in the winter so let me know if you want to give it a shot, a cup of homemade yoghurt daily works wonders and it's quite cheap too

not sure if this is a helpful answer but ive got myself to what i think is i a healthy smartphone/internet balance.
it was a progressive change as i couldnt just cut everything out at once. is tarted trimming my social media friends and followers to just stuff i was interested in or close friends then i deleted superfluous apps like twitter/snapchat. then instagram. then facebook. i still have messenger as in australia thats what everyone uses to communicate. by my fb account is deactivated so now 4chan is the only social media i use. i got rid of news widgets and notifications on my phone, set do not disturb to 9pm - 9am. i really only use my phone for music listening and communicating with my close friends/work/family and since i dont get notifications for bullshit from news/socials etc i dont really look at it. also get in the habbit of putting it screen down
