Hurro guys i am trying to make pine needle tea

Due to my investigation this is white pine as it has 5 thingies in each thingy.

The problem is I chopped them up into little pieces and poured hot water over them but there is nothing being released and the water is clear.

What can I do?

i tried tasting it and it just tastes like mud or shit , not sure if that’s normal.

The pine tea I bought from the store tasted different.

The pine needles for tea are the new growth in the spring. You should try again in April or May and only pick the lighter-colored new growth needles.

White pine tea tastes like aids. Doughlas fir or spruce tea on the other hand. When I make that stuff I cannot stop myself from sucking it down like air it's so good.
