>>2503367>Quick clot>Israeli bandage>Hemostatic gauzeOk listen anon, im not gonna say you are wrong for wanting to have these things. everyone should have things like this. However there are two types of first aid, there is the Ouch pouch, and the Oh fuck kit.
You, 90% of the time, are going to be more concerned with an ouch pouch. This is gonna mostly have Band-Aids, disinfectant, ointments, common over the counter drugs like advil, things to help with naussa, shit like that. At most, you will carry butterfly bandages and some gauze.
Then you got your oh fuck kit, which is a truama kit, if you need anything outta a trauma kit, odds are, you are not going to be able to get outta the situation you are in by your self if you have to use even a fourth of that shit in a kit like that. Thats the kinda shit you use if you are mauled by a bear and some how did not fucking die, had a fucking bolder fall and crush your leg and you had to amutate it, shit like that. If you have to use a tourniquet, first off on your self, second on a buddy you and or both of you are going to be hosed either way if you dont have some sort of plan for evac.
If you wanna have someone tell you waht to take with you when you go inna woods, which odds are you are not going to be going into turbo remote locations like the arctic, deep in teh jungle or some other shit where the nearest hospital is 3+ hours away by flight, just load your self up with a bunch of shit that you would need for cuts, burns, bruises and booboos. If you are that fucking concerned, just pack a fucking tourniquet, and some hemostatic gauze. If you wanna know how to use one just literally look up a youtube video on it.
>BuT yOu GottA tAke A cLaSsno you fucking dont, its not god damn rocket science to apply a tourniquet. High and tight, dont pinch the balls(yes this is a real thing) and keep turning the faucet until the bleeding stops. Also odds are you wont be using one on yourself, someone will use it on you
