Not on sheep, not unless you've got the fences already, and the sheep already, and the land is good quality forage so you aren't buying in as much hay and grain.
You'll lose a lot of sheep to making early mistakes, and it's inevitable. Parasites might take a few, predators some others, not realizing your property is loaded with toxic plants will claim more. It's not something so simple as, buy sheep, put on land.
You'll need to be able to do all of your own doctoring on them as well, or you'll lose the farm to vet fees.
Can you give shots? Drench? Sheer? Dock tails? Evaluate body condition and determine what's causing it to be so poor?
Can you slaughter an animal? Butcher it?
The list of things you need to know really is endless, and I'm even still figuring some of them out myself 8 years later.
So, you should get sheep (goats are a fucking nightmare), and make mistakes, and lose some animals, and fuck things up.
Just don't get them from an auction. You're going to end up with Johne's disease on your property and that's like 2 years of no ruminants on the land until it is safe again.
