Does anyone have any experience with any of this stuff? I'm a bit interested currently after seeing a Goal Zero kit that included a charger for AAs for sale used locally (although after some reading the charger is dogshit and only functions correctly if you're charging 4 batteries at a time). I already prefer devices that run on AAs over newer built in proprietary rechargeable batteries, and while a solar charger might not be the most optimal solution in terms of weight in most cases, there's just something comfy about the idea of not being dependent on how much of a consumable item you packed.
