>Episode focuses on a batch of 2-3 new people and remaining contestants >Most of the time the new people drop out after 3days-2weeks for medical or supplies or boredom reasons >Inbuilt favorite generator of the gigachad who goes several seasons just living in the woods and loses the desire to leave Make it a logarithmic payout-reward structure.
Someone spends a day in the woods and they make $1, someone spends a week in the woods and they make $100, someone spends a month in the woods they make $10,000, a year and a hundred thousand doallrydoos (then it tapers off a bit to doubling instead of multiplying)
So there is a sweet spot where people can "prove they can do it" and make like 5-10k for their trouble. And most fail/bow out and win a purposefully embarrassing amount of money. But some (potentially manufactured because TV) go the distance and make like 500k for spending 5 years living in the woods and returning to monke

>Florida >Probably a while At it's coldest you could still sleep outside without a blanket and not die. Bug and waterborne illness could kill you, but in a pine flat woods you could live off inner bark, fishing, and small game hunting pretty easily. Mosquitoes and chiggers would make it a misery.
