Rope. What is good rope? I usually just use cordage i have at home from my kayaking stuff. But is there any good cordage that is /out/ism approved?

i like natural fibers (sisal/jute) because it matters not if i forget some innawoods. unless you're climbing (and then you wouldn't ask) there's nothing /out/ists do that require any particular type of rope.

Good points all around, I find that natural fiber ropes make better tighter knots than nylon but you can certainly make nylon work if you aren’t retarded. For size I suggest something 1/4” or 3/8” natural fiber or just normal paracord.

Completely depends on usage, but I like:
Bankline: It's cheap and great for anything that doesn't need to hold too much weight
550: It's all around great, you can strap up a hammock with it if you are brave enough, you can do just about anything
