Hello frens and greetings from western NC.
So this summer I got to do some really cool work out west in the Blue mountains of Oregon. It was security for the USFS during the fire season. It was pretty amazing, base camp was 4500', hot showers and great chow. Banting all day with the lads under the brutal high country sun, sleeping in a tent under the stars every night. Met some amazing people and made some great money too. I hope I get invited back next summer.
I'm back home in Appalachia but I almost wish I could do things like that all the time.
Any other anons got some seasonal or generally outdoor work experiences?
