>>2506321Your opinions are valid, but reading your post it's clear you're not speaking from experience. I grew up in the Rocky Mountains and I fucking love going /out/ in England. If you don't think a comfy British woodland is good for /out/ism you're missing out on some great experiences. It's probably the easiest region in the world for foraging wild food if you're into that.
>It's illegal to camp anywhereKek I've camped literally hundreds of times around England and Wales. Never had any issues. Even if they cared, the English are too lazy to come up the hill to tell you to fuck off. And it's grey-area tolerated along long-distance footpaths, according to council websites and police I've asked about it.
>KnoifsI don't risk bringing knives through customs when I visit, so I just buy a Morakniv on arrival, you can find them in any camping store.
>FishingI don't fish, but I believe loicenses are very localized, so it'd be impossible to just roam the land fishing wherever (legally). Shame.
>Large speciesHow many US states do you see wolves in? What kind of a standard is this? Pretty sure a Scottish red deer could fuck up an elk.
>cultivated/managed woods...essentially huge gardens at this pointThis is how I know you've never been to the UK.
