i have the old nu25's but the new one fixes its only problem (micro usb -> usb c)
nu 25: ultra light weight if you swap the headband. not water resistant. built in battery with short life. meant to be used in pass-thru mode with a battery bank plugged in while its on your head. great headlamp but also a great back up because the modded one is only 30 grams. doesn't feel like you have a headlamp on. really crazy winds will blow it off.
petzl actik: a lot of you guys would like this one. it uses AAA's but also has a built in battery. its still pretty light weight, won't feel it on your head much. not water-proof. great thru hiker choice.
petzl bindi: really similar to the nu25 but more battery efficient and better thought out modes. i like the nu25 hardware a bit better and this one's more expensive. good choice tho.
