my vision is pretty shit, -4 diopters. pretty much need to wear glasses to be able to function daily. i dont like having to depend on them when im out, they fog up, they break, they fall off

hell, i cant even wear any old pair of swim goggles i need a special pair with my prescription on it and i think really annoying

did some research on laser eye surgery, different procedures like SMILE or LASIK seem to give people good results. money isnt a problem i can afford it but ive read some nasty stories about people getting a botched surgery, having terminal eye pain or swelling. some of these cases caused patient to end up suiciding because of the pain

anyone here have experiences with laser eye surgery? how did it go?
