Your parents did that, and paid for the privilege. You cant afford a house because you have no marketable skills with which to negotiate a raise. There are 400k more jobs available than there are people to fill them; which is expected to rise to 900k over the next two decades because the boomers are retiring oj average this yesr and they were the largest generation and gen x was the smallest until the zoomers, there simply isnt enough people to ever fill them until the millennials children grow up. You should be able to double your salary right now by job hopping or demanding a raise, if you cant; it’s because you wasted your life no developing skills to do so. The fed is raising rates to slow down the economy because it’s booming and people like you are being left behind; not because it’s doing poorly

It's really general. And kind of boomery. You'd be better off digging into a book that goes in depth on the things you'd like to do off grid. Like a construction generalist book, or rural agriculture book.

Pic related for a great read regardless of whether you’re a sailor or not, written by the first man to complete a solo circumnavigation. One man against the raw outdoors, traveling the world and meeting all sorts of characters. Not even finished with it yet but 10/10 would recommend.
