Hows the alpenflage look? Might buy some next shop.
Travelled few hours yesterday to collect some stuff, full flecktarn and some new boots. Probably going to go with flecktarn jacket, and black shorts, seems to go nicest together

I just got an ALICE pack. Seems like a cheaper alternative to a lot of the more expensive hiking packs. Anyone have any experience with them?

Used MOLLE when I was in, but I just recently put together a medium ALICE ruck. I like it quite a bit, though I'm going to put parachute buckles on the straps for the main lid to make it easier to get into. Being able to lash stuff to the frame is nice.

I got a medium alice pack recently and the pistol belt/Y harness. still need a frame, waiting for downeast to get back to me on if their high performance pad set works with a medium alice. comes with a 1606 alice compatible frame

It’s designed to be cheap and disposable just like the troops, one thing I will give it is the boots are actually fantastic desu
