I'll start with a couple questions
What are some good Western PA Foraging books, looking for both mushroom and plant
Also looking for a high protein, long lasting, unpleasant tasting food for a personal /out/ trip I plan on taking soon

Both a hot and cold option would be preferable, or something that could be used as both

meat floss, easy at home recipe or bought at gook grocery stores. add it to anything especially ramen. works with most meats.

I always like shit like spam or canned corned beef, if you'll have a frying pan. Otherwise just beef jerky / pepperettes.
