Hello sc/out/s; looking for some advice on whether I should get a Garmin InReach Mini 2 or a satellite phone. I'm going to be going on some trips to very remote wilderness areas and want some way of communicating with my family while I'm away.
I'll be carrying a dedicated personal locator beacon, so that isn't a point of consideration for me (unless someone can convince me otherwise).
