I'd love to visit a pine forest, seems like you can freely walk around whereas here it's all dense bush so you have to go mostly on cut trails or bushwhacking where you can't see more than 2m and are constantly getting whacked by a bush

I get really depressed at that.
We have huge areas where it was burned off in the 1800's and early 1900s and all the hillsides are littered with treestumps of the old giant hardwoods
Also Scotland and Ireland where as far as you can see it's just grassland because the medieval lords burned it all so they could hunt in 30minutes instead of 3days
