I've seen some older folks charge money to join them for short walks in suburban outskirts where the group leader just talks about history and basic plant life knowledge.
And another old lady with a group of followers charging money to have a short swim in a lake.
There's a few bushcraft camping groups doing this too and they charge extortionate sums for a weekend of teaching basic firemaking and setting up tents and such.
Not very large groups on these "adventures" but somehow a few people always pay for this.

I've noticed this too I've seen one for $800 AUD for a weekend. A FUCKING WEEKEND and a $1200 for a Nav course. A different operator charges $750 for a weekend of fishing on a boat and beachside camping, which looked pretty based from the photos, its a hell of a lot of money.

The biggest /out/ industry here is probably ski tours. People spend stupid amounts of money to go slide down random mountains in the middle of nowhere. Fishing guides also make good money but you need a boat for that, plus safety certs if you wanna be legal. Some people in my neck of the woods do gold panning, but even at the best of times you make less than minimum wage. The other small time racket is mushroom hunting, but for obvious reasons there's a lot of liability attached to that.

Probably the easiest way I've heard of is to churn credit cards for travel points. Lots of people do this, many guides online

YouTube. Haven't done it but have thought about it every time. Sometimes I wonder if I could've achieved some viewership that would've allowed me to go on adventures more frequently.

Perhaps combine it with blogging, Instagram, TikTok etc for a full social media presence.

my neighbour is a fishing guide on our inland lake. Gets like $600 a half day 100 a full day for taking up to 4 people fishing. I've been learning from him over the years and he's getting older (almost 65) and probably stepping down soon. I'll probably keep his business alive when all is said and done.
