all you gotta do is add snap rivets (how the vietnam ponchos were, cheaper, worse) or sew in some loops to tie the woobie into it (better more modern way of doing it, requires sewing machine) like the old nam ponchos had. should be easy to work out where to place them with a woobie on hand.

fabric loops > metal snap rings because the tarp itself isn't cut to attach it. way stronger.
