What are some of best best ones? I've heard that the British army ones are poor quality these days (the full leather uppers), apparently the ones from the 90's are much better quality (same design and all).

The German army boots are really popular, however I've heard some anons say that the outsole rubber easily cracks for some reason.

I'm trying to stay within the $100 mark. Does anyone own any surplus boots and what are your suggestions?
