I realize I'm really pushy with trying to get my friends to go /out/ and they say they want to buy a number of things makes.them flake. Ya we're all adults with different shit going on and drifting apart, I get that but makes me sad man.

It's hard to make new friends as an adult. Such in life.
Just a rant.

If/ WHEN I get this job promotion I'm treating myself to a Buck 110

Oh and my invites are day hikes, and a once or twice a year backpacking trip, and to go rent kayaks in the summer and drink beer on a lake and it's always fun, just pulling teeth to get anyone to commit it the drive out

New coworker at my place is an up and coming /out/ist, did a few treks on his own, constantly asks me about equipment and places to go since people know I spend a lot of time outdoors. Great guy, but I would never push him to hike with me. I really enjoying being alone, setting my own high/low pace. Not being concerned with other's well-being.

it's a Buck 112 with a, s30v drop point and black micarta handles/stainless bolsters
i don't really like the walnut grips and brass bolsters on the regular 112 so i looked online awhile until i found one i liked
it's a little more than the reg 112 but i think it's worth it, especially considering it was kind of a nod to my uncle who was really into buck knives, i switched over to and stick with customs awhile ago

I really need to pick up a 112. I have a 110 and like it but it's such a brick in the pocket and I'm not autistic enough to use the belt pouch.

Also, when you get the buck, you oughta get one from their custom shop. It'll be a bit pricier, but the fit and finish is top knotch and you can switch around steels, handle materials, and blade shapes
