Maybe this is a thing, maybe it isn't, I'm not really sure, but it's something I'd like to do if it's available. Something like Burning Man but without the gay shit.

>a bunch of people hike out to the middle of nowhere
>set up primitive camps
>chill out, get drunk, hang out for a few days, whatever. Maybe exchange spooky ghost stories.
>pack up, clean up, leave minimal traces and go back to real life.

I live in eastern NC if that matters.
