I'm renting this house and the landlords let me get poultry. I have chickens and ducks. Half the back yard is fenced in as their run. In the summer i noticed the grass in their run taking a beating so i started letting them run the whole back yard almost all of the time. The grass on this side is totally brown but theres no bald spots, unsure if its dead or dormant. The grass in their run is like, almost gone but what grass is there is very green.

Should i just reduce the number of birds? ive done that already a bit. Looking for ideas. Might be getting a house nearby when this lease ends in may and i could just offer to work on the lawn for them.
