Anons, what are your thoughts on stockpiling kerosene as a fuel for cooking/boiling water (versus other hydrocarbon fuel types, alcohol, etc)? From what I've read so far propane seems like a pain what with the bulky cylinders, and gasoline is apparently shit for long-term storage.
In a bona fide SHTF situation, I would obviously have to eventually switch to wood, so the kerosene would be to tide me over until any wood I've gathered/harvested would be dry enough to burn easily.
