Silver needle white tea, monkey picked oolong or jasmine pearl green. Also lots of ginger tea. I treat tea like pot heads treat weed, I want that dank shit. I was filtered by puer though, maybe jist didn't make it right

I wish i knew more about local foliage and plants that i could use for teas but i dont really know where to start to learn that. I was making tea with russian sage i found growing and the flavor was good but it made me feel weird.

This stuff grows everywhere the ground is disturbed (roads, landslides, etc) and apparently makes good tea. I've been meaning to try it, just keep forgetting to harvest some while I'm hiking

For the outdoors, I usually leave the caffeine to instant coffee so if I bring tea it's usually herbal teas for a warm beverage in the evening, chamomile and rooibos based teas more often than not. I have used dandelion, white pine on occasion as well as wild raspberries.

I really gotta start alternating coffee and tea at home. I used to drink way more tea at home.

I always drink black tea with milk and some spicy stuff like pepper and chilli. I remember giving it to my ex gf and she hated it. When I'm out i drink green tea or water.

I always grandpa brew when im outdoors because its the easiest and i dont want to bring ceramics but im thinking of getting one of those titanium gaiwans on aliexpress.
Also this image is sad because i wanted to crop it out so it was square but then my phone deleted the amazing original uncropped photo at the same time :(

Good thread sc/out/, I've done Pine in the woods and a bunch of other foooraged teas at home. I've tried looking for mugwort but have yet to find any. I'll list a couple of the others I've tried and my thoughts. I'd love some suggestions on other teas I can fooooooooooooorage in Bestern PA.
Birch - Pretty Good
Rosehip - My rosehips weren't great so the tea didn't turn out great, I should probably retry this one
Catnip - I liked it but my family didn't love it
Beabalm - That's cash
White pine and Blue spruce - Both pretty good, family didn't like Blue spruce as much
Mullein - Pretty good
Ground Ivy - Can't recommend, too salady
Mint - Of course it's good
Black raspberry/blackberry (can't remember which) - It was good, sister didn't like it
Red Raspberry/wineberry - It was good
Yarrow - Pretty good

I used fresh twigs from a tree right near the house, although the internet says you can use either. My next big plan is infusing some of these into a mead, not sure what combo yet
