>>2533804>What kind of food do you bring for a hike?fruit, wafer candybars and jerky for on-the-go snacking. bread, salted/smoked meats, carrots, potatoes and baked mothafucking beans i cant tell you how much i love baked beans in vaguely-tomato sauce
- Do you use freeze dried meals, MREs or cans of food?
freeze-dried and MRE are not worth it, they are also larp material. if its a choice between these three its canned shit all day
- What kind of material do you use for multi-day trails?
tp, gas canisters if its wet or windy so we cant cook with fire, batteries if its wet or windy so we cant light with fire, some paracord for setting up tarp/hammock/tent (though i reuse 90% of it), candles maybe, weed maybe, cigarettes most likely (yes, i keep and throw out the butts at home, im not a nigger), vaseline for any chafing, duct tape for leaks on tents and for preventing blisters. if its wet and cold foot powder too, but if its wet and warm i usually go barefoot
good luck on your research, but it would be best if you tried it out yourself, it can be miserable, but its good fun. bring a gun.
