It's a trail. They belong there where it's easy compared ot bushwacking. They can enjoy what they want and they aren't going to be bringing bluetooth speakers or having the dynema debate. Already a win win IMO.

This. They're very nice, always down to chat, and are an inspiration.

I remember one time I ate mushrooms at a peak at like 7am. I sat there for hours coming up at an old group of ladies shoes up just like pic related. We all just were laughing and happy, they took pictures of me (which I treasure because I know I was deep in it) and we hiked together for awhile towards the next peak. I eventually got way too high so I basically ran ahead of them, they wished me a happy day and we're talking about how fast I was, it was such a good start to a trip.
