for every10-50 people that don't take it seriously, or try it out just to destroy a decent knife whether its a pocket knife, or a solid tang knife from their grandfather, they end up breaking it, decide that they had enough and just buy a hatchet/axe/awl and call it good
its the people with and often times without enough money that'll keep buying knives instead of axes or saws, and keep breaking them to chop wood like you are in an actual emergency and can't curb stomp that log, stuff flammables into the cracks and light it up
this whole batoning wood shit is to sell knives to the autistic, idiotic, seeking attention from others, wives, girlfriends, boyfriends, and wildlife probably too. they end up buying dozens of either cheap knives(slightly smarter ones), but more often than not, end up buying more and more expensive knives, even if 99% of the cost is in acid etching, stupid designs, and easy to break off shit.
this shit, on sites like this, reddit, facebook, weaving with underarm and vaginal hair sites, and more are all about keeping this relevant so they keep buying knives, a usually barely profitable business, unless you export them to the UK and other regions.
