You can order them from forestry supplies websites. I've never used one so I have no idea how heavy or tough they are. But essentially it's a saw, and if you decide a saw will work then I'd just buy a lightweight trimming saw. I've annihilated blackberrys with mine and I'd definitely use it for poison oak if push came to shove.
The only other thing I can think of is an Old Hickory 10" butcher knife, but it's a little on the short side for serious poison oak destruction. It is, however, very lightweight for a 10" knife, and you could fashion a long handle for it easily: remove the original handle and use wingnuts to secure the new, much longer handle to the tang.
