Full time farmer from Slovenia here.
The idiots in charge of our agricultural policies have decided to ban farming in the ''buffer zones'' around rivers and creeks. 15m for rivers, 5m for creeks. Not just pesticide and mineral fertilizer use but everything except grass cutting and grazing. You cannot even plow the ground to plant the stuff w/o fertilizing.
Would some very kind /out/doorsmen from europe describe the laws in their country regarding this? I've tried searching online but couldn't find anything tangible. I'd like to get some examples of how fucked in the head our lawmakers are, when compared to other countries'.
The new rules apply to me personally, since most of my land is in a narrow valley beside a river and the fuckers are literally taking my land. Of what worth is your land if they won't let you use it?
I know you're not my personal army, but i'm getting a bit concerned here and i know 4chan people are always fighting for the common man. Or maybe they're fighting the common man. I forget.
